Untitled #103

You have no idea how much it meant to me… How much I needed it. With a simple request you saved me. I can say “thank you” a million times, I can do anything and everything for you, but no matter what, it could never be enough. I’m forever in your debt and I love you. I’ve told you before, and you just provided more evidence of it – you really are my angel.

You said things are going to get better and I know they will – but I fear things will get much worse before they get better. And I don’t know what to do… I always know what to do… I always have a plan. I always have an ace up my sleeve. I always have a way… But this time… for the first time… I don’t.

“Keep those that you love the furthest from you, but try to take care of them too.”

I want to… I really do. You’ve done so much and I don’t want you to have to share in my trials and tribulations. I don’t want you to worry. I don’t want you to feel you have to do anything for me or be there for me…

But I don’t think I can do this alone. I’m going to need you to get through this. And when it’s all said and done… I’ll be able to smile once again…

“We’ll get some lighter heads for our heavy hearts. And we’ll share a drink, yeah, we’ll share our fears. And you’ll know how I love you – I’m nothing without your love.”

I just added a menu item, "Short Stories".  You can hover over it to get a list of the short stories I have written and click on one of them or you can just click on the menu link. If you do that, it will provide slight information about the story - like whether it's fiction or non-fiction, etc. I'll be probably adding summaries to the main page soon as well but first things first, I wanted to get them up ^_^

A Response to a Poem

When you look in the mirror what do you see?
Is it those cuts, bruises, and scars
Which were formed so long ago?
Or maybe those tears you have lost?
It's a shame...
It really is...

In Response to a Letter Written Years Ago

Why anticipate the ending? Enjoy the present - Future has yet to come, Past has already came. While both are important, neither matter quite as much as Present. You can't change what happened so why dwell on the subtleties of so called imperfection and/or mishaps, mistakes that might of occurred.

And I would like to believe I know what parts of this writing refer to more so than others, some cryptic writing I know the code to. I wonder what your reflection is on this as you read it today.
